Ms. Pettier is a business executive with more than 20 years experience working in the insurance and risk management industry in Trinidad and Tobago.  Her experience includes strategic planning, operations management, crisis management, underwriting, and risk management and business continuity planning.

Ms. Pettier has served, or continues to serve, as a director of the Association of Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Companies; Board of Governors Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Institute; Clico Credit Union Cooperative Society Limited; and the Council of Trustees Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Institute.

Ms. Pettier is certified as an Accredited Director by the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada, underscoring her commitment to excellence in work and service.

Energized by insights gained from her experience in the insurance and risk management industry, Ms. Pettier has increasingly focused on the issue of environmental sustainability as a requirement for society to survive and thrive.  This motivated her to actively contribute to the work of an organization whose purpose is to facilitate development of a sustainable future for society.  She has special interest in climate change, building capacity in Caribbean communities to develop and implement sustainable projects, and collective action to drive transformational change.
